    JOB OPENING

  • Title: ACS Front Desk Services and Lending Closet
  • Location: Grafenwöhr, Germany
  • Start Date: Immediately
  • Job-Type: Part-Time On-Call
  • Part-Time On-Call (PTOC) = Substitute and replacement personnel for planned and unplanned absences at the ACS Front Desk Office. Personnel should be available on short notice.

    Job Overview

    The USAG Bavaria Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels Military Community ACS have established the Information, Referral, and Follow-up (I&R) and Lending Closet Programs. This is an Army-wide program for information and referral services as the military lifestyle places special pressure on Soldiers and Family Members who must continually adjust to new locations and extended Soldier absences. The ACS Front Desk Services position shall provide an extensive array of information and fulfill requests for lending closet items.

    Qualifications

  • Experience providing customer service.
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, Email and A365.
  • Ability to lift up to sixty (60) pounds overhead safely.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Be professional in appearance and interaction with staff and customers.
  • Greet customers and address customer questions in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Provide information to clients and referral to ACS staff and community services.
  • Be familiar with and provide accurate community and local information.
  • Become the subject matter expert in ACS and MWR programs and services.
  • Perform a variety of recordkeeping and filing functions.
  • Administrative support, data management and office automation (i.e. copier, scanner, fax, etc.)
  • Provide intake support for in processing and out-processing military service members and their Families.
  • Provide customer Follow-up and Referral to appropriate programs or organizations.
  • Register customers for ACS Classes and Events and confirm attendance 2 business days prior to class.
  • Ensure ACS information / flyers are current and posted in ACS and Welcome Center.
  • Input client data and statistics into Client Tracking System on a daily basis.
  • Prepare request, issue, receive Lending Closet items and properly place them back in lending closest.
  • Will provide a qualified sub-contractor to cover during all absences.
  • Add, edit and delete classes in Check Appointment System, as needed.
