    Join Leading Notified Body's growing Medical Device Team
    We're seeking technical and experienced individuals for the roles of Medical Device Auditors and Lead Auditors throughout Europe. This position allows for remote work from anywhere in Germany.


    As a Medical Device Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting audits of medical device manufacturers, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485, MDSAP, IVDR and the Medical Device Regulation (EU 2017/745) , aligning with Leading Notified Body's commitment to delivering certification services that meet customer requirements and accreditation standards.


    Job Summary:

    Successful candidates should possess a university or technical college degree in fields such as Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Medicine, or related disciplines.

    The role requires a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in the medical device industry, with at least 2 years in manufacturing, auditing, or research and quality management.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Audit manufacturers for continued compliance with regulatory requirements, including ISO 13485, MDSAP, IVDR and the Medical Device Regulation (EU 2017/745) .

    Apply knowledge of regulatory requirements to manufacturers' processes, management systems, and products. Perform audits following established procedures, maintaining high service delivery standards and effective customer relationships. Document and report audit activities and results, utilizing analytical skills and excellent written communication. Provide timely and accurate reviews of customer corrective actions. Analyze complex regulatory requirements and make sound determinations for the proper course of action. Work independently or within a team environment, maintaining appropriate auditor credentials.

    What Makes a Successful Candidate:

    Education:

    Auditors should have a university or technical college degree in a relevant product or medical area, such as Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, or Medicine.

    Experience Candidates need a minimum of 4 years of full-time work experience in the medical device industry, with at least 2 years in manufacturing, auditing, or research and quality management.


    General Expectations :
    Excellent working knowledge of medical device management systems, compliance, and auditing techniques. Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., MDR (EU 2017/745)) and related standards. Auditor training and experience according to ISO 13485, MDR (EU 2017/745), and MDSAP is a plus. Strong knowledge of medical devices and product technologies. Experience auditing against recognized standards. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills. Current valid driver's license. Domestic and/or international travel required, estimated to be up to 50%.


    What Is Preferred Previous experience as an Auditor with a Notified Body or Conformity Assessment Body is advantageous but not required.
