C/C++ Software Engineer - Remote anywhere in Germany - HPC

A great new opportunity for experienced HPC (High Performance Computing) Software Engineers to join this highly successful and growing HPC developer and integrator, contributing to the design and development of software used to manage some of the most powerful supercomputers in Europe.

This employer develops software for public and private sector organisations across Europe who are implementing very large supercomputing solutions - these are typically solutions that sit comfortably within the HPC Top500 list. Due to continued growth within their client base they are now seeking experienced HPC Software Engineer to assist in the design and development of software for the management of Linux based supercomputing clusters.

You will already have the following skills/experience:

• Strong, system level C/C++ programming skills
• multi-threaded programming experience
• Socket programming experience TCP/IP, UDP/IP)

+ any experience with the following would be useful but not essential:

• MPI
• Linux kernel programming
• CUDA, OpenCL and/or OpenACC
• Infiniband

This employer has a physical offices in Munich and near Cologne but are happy to employ HPC Software Engineers to work on a fully remote basis from anywhere in Germany.
