    Payroll Specialist - Germany

    We are working on behalf of a Global Financial Services client, to find a Payroll Specialist to manage all payroll functions for the German branch.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Process payroll for German employees, adhering to local tax and social security regulations.
    • Oversee German payroll suppliers and ensure timely payments.
    • Manage company pension tasks and collaborate with local finance teams.
    • Stay updated on payroll policies and local laws, implementing necessary changes.
    • Manage relationships with internal and external auditors.
    • Communicate payroll updates and policies to colleagues and HR leadership.
    • Lead improvement initiatives and participate in payroll-related projects.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience with German payroll and tax regulations.
    • Proficiency in HR payroll systems (Datev/Lodas, SAP HR, etc.) and Excel.
    • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

    This role is based in Frankfurt and will be office based 2-3 days a week on a hybrid basis. Please be within commutable distance to City centre.
