AI Expert - Energy Storage Systems

I am currently teamed with a leading technology company and one of the world's biggest R&D firms who are looking to add an AI Expert for Energy Storage Systems to their new Energy Storage Team in Nuremberg, Germany.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of AI algorithms to simulate & predict the performance of energy storage systems - State-of-Charge estimation, battery failure, safety warnings, and predictive maintenance
• Experiment with AI techniques, such as machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and large foundational models, to develop the most effective models
• Optimize and fine-tune AI models for performance prediction & maintenance scheduling

Key Skills and Experiences Required:

• MSc / PhD in Computer Science / AI / related subject
• Experience in designing and delivering AI solutions with a successful impact on business operations
• Skilled with AI programming languages and frameworks (e.g. Python, Tensorflow, PyTorch)
• Understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures, and natural language processing techniques
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model optimization techniques
