    Aufgaben

    You will make an impact in the following way:

    • Professional and disciplinary leadership of employees, budget planning and adherence within the scope of responsibility
    • Management of the general ledger including clarification and booking of accounting issues according to guidelines, coordination with other Belden accounting experts, account maintenance and reconciliation, plausibility checks such as plan/actual variances and explanations
    • Timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to US GAAP and HGB including reconciliation of main and subledgers
    • Responsibility for financial data consolidation in Oracle FCCS
    • Responsibility for and creation and maintenance of SOX control documentation
    • Contact person for accounting and sales tax issues for superiors, departments, auditors, tax consultants, and auditors, including the preparation and provision of financial data and reports
    Profil


    What you will bring:

    • Education – Degree in economics with a focus on Finance & Accounting or equivalent qualification
    • Experience – At least 10 years in accounting as well as previous experience in a manager role
    • Skills – Very good knowledge of accounting according to HGB and US-GAAP as well as very good SAP knowledge and MS Office, especially Excel
    • Personality – Strong leadership, communication, and problemsolving skills to manage and inspire a team of 8 professionals
    • Language proficiency – Fluency in English and German
