Join our Team as a Senior Fire Protection Specialist at PreZero

What you'll be doing

• Developing innovative fire protection concepts and defining minimum standards for production and processing plants
• Group-wide coordination, acting as a central point of contact within the PreZero Group and interfacing with the insurance SVV sector and external parties
• Collaborating with the Health & Safety department within the foundation and across countries
• Tracking and implementing measures for the obligations catalog
• Establishing and developing suppliers in collaboration with procurement
• Transparency in operating costs of fire protection systems and facilities
• Understanding operator responsibilities related to legal requirements, building permits, official orders, and insurer requirements
• Pre-planning, detailed planning, and implementation of fire protection for new, converted, or expanded facilities
• Actively managing commissioning and ramp-up phases of operations
• Supervising innovation and special projects, as well as test and trial series

What we're looking for

• Completed degree ideally in Engineering, Safety Engineering, or similar
• >10 years of industry experience in an international environment
• Several years of professional experience in fire protection and damage assessment within the waste sector
• Practical project experience and leadership of employees in international project teams
• Thorough knowledge of relevant laws, standards, and guidelines (e.g., building law)
• Knowledge in Health & Safety
• Strong communication skills in German and English
• Firefighting training is advantageous
