    One of our operating companies is Bauking- number one market-leading distributors of building materials in Germany, offering a 'one- stop-shop' with a wide range of materials and services for professional builders and private customers active in the residential and renovation end markets.

    With 4400 employees across 130 locations an 1.3 billion revenue Bauking is constantly growing though numerous acquisitions. There is a high need for a Senior Financial Analyst & Planner.

    This role is pivotal in driving financial analysis, controlling processes, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making across various organizational levels.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, controlling, and project leadership, coupled with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.


    Key Tasks and Responsibilities
    # Financial Analysis and Reporting:

    Prepare, interpret, and present standard and ad hoc analyses for Group and Management Level, including standard reports such as aging, provisions & accruals, and capex.

    Prepare target/actual analyses and derive actionable recommendations for BK steering level (location, region, cost center, profit center), ensuring coordination within controlling.

    Independently prepare and comment on monthly business developments, providing insights to stakeholders.
    Conduct variance analyses and plausibility calculations to identify discrepancies and opportunities.

    # Planning and Forecasting:

    Own and manage all relevant financial data, supporting cash flow and liquidity planning, and aligning with Treasury.
    Lead the independent preparation, coordination, and creation of intra-year forecasting and medium-term planning documents.

    Assist in budget planning for costs (P&L) and segment reports for GBM & DIY & product groups (P&L, CAPEX).

    # Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Actively participate in (and at times lead) cross-departmental projects to drive business objectives.

    Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team for active controlling processing, analysis, early risk detection, and monitoring of the entire reporting landscape.

    Serve as a Business Partner for Cost Center, Group Functions (e.g., HR, Procurement, Logistics, board), providing financial insights and support.

    # M&A Integration and

    Cost Controlling:
    Support integration activities related to M&A.
    Track cost programs and conduct cost controlling activities, ensuring effective cost management across the organization.

    # Communication and Problem-Solving:

    Manage trading updates and meet group requirements, providing support for Reporting.
    Address ad-hoc requirements and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
    Maintain active correspondence with managers, specialist departments, and external service providers.
    Education and Experience
    Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, accounting, or related field; or equivalent commercial training.
    Minimum of five years of professional experience in controlling, analytical area, or similar.
    Experience with BI-based reporting and analysis is desirable.
    Ideally, experience in a trading company with a private equity background.
    A deep understanding of numerical data.
    Independent, structured, and proactive work approach.
    Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, and proficiency in cloud & data warehouse system environments.
    Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    Ability to solve problems effectively, and work under pressure.
    Fluent in English and German; at equal qualification diversity criteria will apply in the final selection process.
