Test Engineer - DE - Westhausen
Summary:
As Test Engineer, you are responsible for the accomplishment of test campaigns aiming at improving the product portfolio of the company. As an engineer, you will both follow the test demands or propose adequate test plans or campaigns to the stakeholders until the analysis and report phases. You will report directly to the Supervisor Laboratory with who you will define priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conception or development, realization and support of qualification and development tests with regard to new, improved or optimized products, software and systems as well as their applications
• Measurement of product-related parameters with regard to functionality, mechanics, electrics and fluidics
• Carrying out and preparing homologations of our screwdriving tools
• Evaluation and assessment of test results and simulations
• Derivation and realization of further development and optimization measures
• Preparation of test documentation as well as presentation of the test results and the selected solution approaches
• Close cooperation with in-house development departments, production and quality management as well as with external parties
Critical Skills & Qualifications:
• Completed technical studies with a focus on electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field or, alternatively, you have a degree as a state-certified technician with this focus
• Experienced knowledge in LabVIEW, , Siemens PLC, CoDeSys, Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of control and measurement technology, electric motors, battery technology
• Excellent analytical thinking skills as well as a careful and conscientious way of working
• High degree of teamwork and customer orientation
• Fluent in German and English
