    About the Role

    This is a unique opportunity to join our team and shape the future of structural engineering software in Singapore. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a market-specific sales strategy, acquiring new customers, managing client relationships, and recruiting, leading, and developing a local team. Additionally, you will be responsible for organizing trade fairs, universities, and industry events, building relationships with authorities, industry associations, and educational institutions, and ensuring budget control and legal compliance in Singapore.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Overall responsibility for establishing and expanding the Singaporean subsidiary
    • Developing and implementing a market-specific sales strategy to achieve ambitious growth goals
    • Acquiring new customers and managing client relationships
    • Recruiting, leading, and developing a local team (sales, marketing, customer success)
    • Organizing and representing the company at trade fairs, universities, and industry events
    • Building and maintaining relationships with authorities, industry associations, and educational institutions

    You will also be responsible for regular reporting to the headquarters' management on sales KPIs, pipeline, and market feedback.

    Requirements

    To succeed in this role, you will need:

    • Completed studies in civil engineering
    • At least seven years of relevant professional experience in structural analysis/design or in sales/support of CAD/FEM software
    • Excellent knowledge of the Singaporean construction software market, ideally in CAD, FEM, or BIM
    • Very good English skills, knowledge of regional languages is an advantage
    • Entrepreneurial thinking, initiative, and a hands-on mentality
    • Willingness to travel regularly within Singapore and occasionally to Germany
