We - MT Aerospace - are part of the OHB Space and Technology Group. As a leading international aerospace company, we develop, manufacture and test essential components for launcher programs such as Ariane, the Space Launch System (SLS) as well as commercial launcher systems, the Airbus fleet, spacecrafts, satellites and defense applications. Your Tasks

As Programme Manager Defence, you will implement projects already acquired in the defence and aviation sector and act as the contact person for existing and future customers

You will be responsible for completing all projects on time and within budget - in this context, you will be fully responsible for achieving sales and margin targets

In this newly created role, you will also position the company as a system and component provider in the growing defence sector and build up an industry network

To this end, you will develop a coherent strategy, create capture plans and roadmaps together with the sales team

You will develop technically scalable products tailored to customer needs and take on the project planning of defined work packages

You have disciplinary leadership of the relevant Defence and Aviation project managers

Your Qualifications

Completed technical studies, preferably in the field of industrial engineering or a comparable specialisation

Experience in programme management, project management and customer-specific product development

Sound knowledge in the field of defence as well as technical market understanding in the field of aviation and land systems desirable

Entrepreneurial thinking with a strong customer focus and strong closing skills

Independent, autonomous and structured way of working within interdisciplinary teams

Convincing demeanour, strong presentation skills and willingness to travel internationally

Fluency in written and spoken English and security clearance required
