- Support Medical Customer Segment with expert technical and applications knowledge, including technical discussions, tender preparation, and customer presentations
- Facilitate Software and Metrology Training to customers and colleagues on MED applications solutions
- Rollout application solutions globally, developed mainly on CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines)
- Ensure high level of customer satisfaction, maintaining effective working relationships with customers. Act as a Brand Ambassador for ZEISS
- Represent a role model for the multicultural community of ZEISS IQS MED engineers fostering customer orientation
- Train ZEISS IQS Engineers to perform high level demonstrations.
- The position requires minimum 50% availability to travel worldwide
- This is a customer-facing role whose purpose is to help increase customer satisfaction, market share, brand strength, and success of ZEISS across the product portfolio
- Technical degree (master) or equivalent in a technical qualification/ experience: metrology; engineering
- Experience in a metrology/ quality environment; Good knowledge of a core product-related technology: (CNC Metrology Equipment - CT & CMM in particular). And good understanding of GD&T
- Experience within a customer facing role, as a representative for the business. (Independently)
- Experience of supporting sales / business development and / or supporting sales activities
- Working in a role requiring flexibility to balance multiple projects/ priorities / customer requests and experience in problem solving
- Desirable experience in Project management and technical leadership
- Ability to work in a sales driven environment
- Ability to operate in a multicultural environment
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken English and German
