For the 'Air SIGINT Systems Engineering' department, we are looking for a Junior Systems Engineer focusing on Safety (m/f/d) at the Ulm location.

Your Responsibilities

• Conducting system analyses of airborne reconnaissance systems with multiple aircraft and ground stations following predefined standards
• Preparing and evaluating documentation within the scope of Safety Assessments according to SAE ARP 4761
• Creating and evaluating simple fault trees
• Contributing to the preparation and evaluation of Aircraft / System / Equipment Hazards and Safety Requirements at Aircraft / System / Equipment level
• Supporting development in processing design elements with safety implications
• Participating in the evaluation of operation and maintenance processes with safety implications
• Participating in the preparation and evaluation of evidence for final certification and supporting clearance activities with safety implications

Your Profile

• Completed studies in engineering, aerospace engineering, communications engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or equivalent
• Initial practical experience in applying civilian / military safety methods and standards in the aviation sector and systems engineering
• Experience with DOORS is advantageous
• Structured, conscientious, and analytical work approach
• Excellent German and English language skills
