    The position summary: Stratasys is hiring a 3PLs & Warehouse Manager (EMEA) to handle increased business volume in Europe. You will be responsible for developing and leading the EMEA warehouse design and strategy. You will handle relations with all third-party logistics providers (3PL) to drive best in class operational metrics related to finished goods and raw materials. You will oversee all inventory location and translate business needs and priorities into logistics strategies and programs that contribute to driving growth and customer service while reducing costs.

    In this role: Based in Germany near Rheinmünster, you will work together with both global and local teams to manage EMEA warehousing processes related to our warehouses in Karlsruhe (DE), in the UK, and in the Netherlands. The role will involve some travel to these locations; regular presence at our office in Rheinmünster ensures smooth collaboration with the EMEA operations teams.

    This role requires fluent German skills to communicate with local German team members and warehousing partners.

    What you will be doing:

  • Optimize the overall EMEA warehousing processes and network design in collaboration with the Global Logistics team
  • Responsible for EMEA third party vendor selection including defining requirements in collaboration with Global Logistics team
  • Support and optimize all mergers and acquisition activity
  • Manage the requirements and relationship with all EMEA third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure that the periodical objectives for cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness are achieved.
  • Collaborating with multiple teams, locally & globally to ensure smooth & efficient inbound and outbound transactions from multiple locations in EMEA.

  • Develop and implement EMEA Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) in collaboration with Global Operations team to drive continuous improvement
  • Establishes annual operating and capital budget and manages against that budget including ability to explain any variances and put plans in place to address budgetary issues
  • Determine Information Technology needs and requirements and implement best practice infrastructures to support and optimize a growing logistics network
  • Develop and maintain all inventory control processes such as cycle & wall to wall counts

  • Support all TPL compliances regarding DG storage and handling
  • Performing vendors audit and questionnaires periodically and on demand
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement
  • Must have for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Operations, Supply Chain Management or equivalent or similar discipline and a minimum of 5 years in warehousing management required, preferably internationally
  • Experience with Third Party Logistics provider selection
  • Experience working with ERP software and customer service required; Oracle preferred
  • Experience with lean thinking and processes
  • Language skills: fluent in English and able to communicate confidently in German
  • Travel required: We anticipate about 25-30% travel required within the EU and the UK (a typical week may include a one or two day trip to a warehouse, and is otherwise based in the office or home office).
