    About the Role:

  • Global responsible for the customer experience of Harman Automotive, directly reporting to the President Harman Automotive Division
  • Leading the team of the global customer group leads NA, CN/APAC, EU, JP) as primus inter pares.
  • Heading the customer group Europe team in personal union
  • Leading the horizontals of sales/program excellence and business development
  • As face to the customers managing customer relationship, customer strategy and account business performance
  • Accountable on new business award and project deliverables to customers. Includes all Harman Automotive portfolio
  • Collaborate with SBUs and support functions, directly managing CBU and CPM teams on business development, account management, customer project management, application & resident engineering to achieve both regional and divisional targets
  • Taking responsibility as Managing Director for the Harman Becker Automotive Systems GmbH in Germany
  • Acting as the deputy for the Divisional President the ideal candidate will clearly be considered as the potential successor for this C-level function on mid-term perspective.
  • What You Will Do:

  • Maintain and enhance customer relationship to Customer Senior Management team in European OEMs.
  • Develop and implement the global customer portfolio strategy
  • Define customer strategy for each customer account and drive implementation of the strategy
  • Develop and win new business
  • Product delivery through customer program management for entire customer portfolio, be accountable for program flawless execution
  • Drive and improve customer account profitability, driving lifetime OEM sales
  • Budget management both on program execution and overall cost control
  • Target setting and assurance of operational excellence of CPM&CBU teams
  • Define and implement go to market approach for $B1.5 growth with a new innovative set of products
  • Active support of SBUs on product strategies and road maps of existing business
  • Leading multi-national global team with multi-culture awareness
  • Acts as a role model in terms of leadership and code of business conduct
  • Develop the global talent pool of sales and program management
  • Ensure equal treatment of employees within the scope of corporate policies and practices
  • What You Need:

  • Proved proficiency of Harman Competencies (Results driven, Team Player, Change Orientation, Customer Focus and Self Awareness) on an excellent level
  • Master of Engineering or business management, good understanding on cutting edge technology particularly on software and product background in electronics
  • Successful international business leader with 15+ years of experience with strong track record of transformational leadership
  • Proven track record of building high performance organizations
  • Proven experience in creating and executing customer & technology strategy
  • 10+ years experiences and track record of successfully complex OEM automotive projects execution and delivery (More than 50+ team members)
  • Successfully negotiated high value, complex or strategically important deals or achieving technical solution, product development agreements
  • Solid understanding of Cloud, Digital Cockpit, Telematics, ADAS & Audio products
  • What is Nice to Have:

  • Track record of general management of business in automotive domain focus on operations, product management and sales
  • Strong problem solving skills, good ability on operation excellence, track record on engineering management
  • Ability to integrate people, to resolve conflicts
  • Broad intercultural experience and excellent communication skills
