- Evaluate and makerecommendations on buying and selling decisions for new andexisting products.
- Engage with innovation andengineering teams to ensure new productsuccess.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers toensure stock coverage and minimizecosts.
- Monitor prices of main materials;analyze impact based on annual usage and present results tomanagement for budgeting purposes.
- Identify keysources and encourage suppliers to remain competitive, to obtainthe best value (quality, lead time, cost andservice).
- Knowledge of bestpractices and awareness of the competition and factors thatdifferentiate them in the market.
- Bachelor'sdegree + 3-5 years of work experience in procurement or strategicsourcing.
Additional training would be a plus (forexample a background in engineering, Purchasing Negotiation, MBA,etc.). - Fluent Oral and written in German andEnglish .
- Experience with Microsoft Excel PowerBI to create and manipulate spreadsheets and analyzedata.
- Enjoy travelling to France from time totime (and USA/China once ayear).
