- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate closely with business units to understand their demands and translate them into technical specifications. Create user stories and pre-discuss them with development teams.
- Data and Process Analysis: Analyze core processes, transactions, and data flows to prepare detailed end-to-end views.
- Concepts and Functional Specifications: Based on your analyses, prepare robust specifications and comprehensive concepts for key transformations.
- Testing and Implementation: Define functional tests and oversee the implementation of IT requirements, ensuring proper testing.
- Risk Identification and Mitigation: Proactively identify risks in IT systems and interfaces, especially during development, and escalate as needed.
- Stakeholder Management: Involve internal stakeholders early and expand your network within the organization.
- Root Cause Analysis: Independently investigate errors (e.g., missing or incorrect data) and collaborate with relevant departments and IT to find solutions.
- Consultation: Support business departments in Germany and other European countries throughout the IT development process, either directly in projects or as part of the Data Quality Taskforce.
- Completed studies in (business) informatics, insurance, economics or comparable.
- Several years of professional experience in an international insurance company; with very good knowledge of the value chain and the main transactions of an insurance company (non-life insurance, ideally with experience in industrial insurance).
- Experience in the context of VAIT and DORA.
- Technical acumen and experience with agile project management methodologies.
- Proven experience in implementing IT solutions and in problem solving.
- Team player with good communication skills at all hierarchical levels.
- Ability to build trust, form alliances, listen, communicate, influence and coordinate interdisciplinary teams.
- Confident demeanour, creativity and initiative.
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken); other languages are an advantage (e.g. French).
- Willingness to travel (less than 5%).
