    Data Engineer - Fully Remote

Building a scalable Data Platform centred around Performance, Flexibility and Reliability.

    They are looking for someone to bring their knowledge and expertise to influence and help guide the Data function. This is a company where ideas and opinions are valued – not ignored.

    This role is 100% remote so no matter where you are in Germany, this could be suitable for you.

    THE ROLE:

    • Building a scalable data platform
    • Performance, flexibility and reliability are your thing
    • Engage in the creation and upkeep/optimisation of data pipelines.
    • Design and maintain the data architecture, data models, schemas & integrations
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfil data requirements for internal partners, stakeholders, clients, and regulatory bodies.
    • Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, and related domains.

    THE CANDIDATE:

    • Hands-on experience with Data System Architecture and ELT processes
    • Experience with Cloud Data Warehouses (Amazon Redshift or similar)
    • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, SQL, Java, Scala, Spark)
    • Experience with AWS or another Cloud platform and its services
    • Advantage for familiarity with Airflow, DBT etc.
    • Possession of relevant degrees in a technical field of study (e.g., data or computer science).
    • Inquisitive mindset towards the field of data engineering
    • You are proficient in English OR German (Or both)
