Large Projects Offshore plays a key role in the energy transition.

The department is responsible for the current and future further development of the entire offshore grid and thus for the development and implementation of the DC interconnectors and the offshore wind farm grid connection in the German and Dutch area of the North Sea.

TenneT is growing fast to realize its strategic ambitions. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition. We are looking for a passionate Sub Project Lead - Integration & Commissioning - 2GW Projects (m/w/d) at our location Hannover who will contribute to this and that might be you?

Aufgaben In your role as Sub Project Lead for Integration and Commissioning, you ensure that the Grid Connection System and all its sub-systems are integrated and commissioned according to relevant requirements.

• You oversee the Testing & Commissioning and the Interface Management processes, the overall (workstream overarching) technical interfaces, as well as interface descriptions throughout all phases of the projects
• Besides you are promoting, do Testing & Commissioning and Interface Management within the project by explaining employer expectations based on contractual requirements and employer experience
• You monitor project Testing and Commissioning progresses and handovers to ensure a transparent and successful internal handover, fulfilling anticipated requirements for "grid readiness" which involves potential stakeholders such as the Ministry of EZK and OWF's
• Additionally you design the supervision of the integration and commissioning process and evaluate needed expertise
• You organize the expert team for specific commissioning activities, coordinate cable testing, system tests and compliance with studies

Profil

• You bring a Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or comparable qualifications
• Besides you have already gained professional experience and excellent knowledge about grid planning/integrity principles for a TSO as well as the functioning of the energy system
• You gained experience in and knowledge of the topic of integration and commissioning
• Ideally, you have the certificates required for working offshore and you bring a class B driver's license, bring willingness to travel (e.g. Asia and Europe)
• As a dynamic, enthusiastic person you show initiative, are persuasive, are speaking both German and English are spoken fluently (minimum C1)
• You handle your stakeholders with a high level of sensitivity, awareness, and balanced judgment by your excellent communication skills in an international context
