Junior Project Manager | Berlin | Solar | Commercial and Industrial Photovoltaics | €60,000 DOE

Piper Maddox are working closely with one of the biggest European players in the commercial rooftop PV industry and we are on the hunt for aspiring project managers that have a strong technical background in engineering.

Our client has active operations in 7+ countries, and they have already established a strong legacy with 1500 completed projects across these geographies amounting to a total of 650 MW. There is still plenty of room for you to contribute to this legacy, as they boast an impressive project pipeline of 7.5 GW.

The Role

• You will actively support the technical implementation of rooftop systems while adhering to the set project goals (costs, adherence to deadlines and contract management)
• You coordinate and keep track of all project-relevant milestones - from technical planning and commissioning to any follow-up work required
• You support our teams in day-to-day operations
• You consistently carry out quality control with regard to standards and guidelines as well as the enforcement of HSSE standards
• You are a reliable contact person for all internal (e.g. purchasing, controlling) and external project partners

What we want from you

• You have achieved the successful completion of an engineering degree, specializing in electrical engineering and energy technology, particularly within the realm of renewable energy systems
• Alternatively, you possess master craftsman or technician training coupled with substantial relevant professional experience (construction project management of photovoltaic systems).
• You possess foundational knowledge in project leadership and management, with a specific emphasis on effective deadline and cost control. Your proficiency in IT usage is highly commendable.
• Fluent proficiency in German.
