In the Coatings department, we focus on developing, producing, and marketing various coating solutions - from applied surface technology to vehicle painting. We promote innovation, design, and new application possibilities to meet the needs of our partners worldwide in globally operating teams. This portfolio is complemented by 'Beyond Paint Solutions' which enables new applications with innovative surfaces.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be our network specialist in the Digital Technical Services & Solutions unit as soon as possible. We operate the digital factory infrastructure at our locations in Münster and Würzburg. Additionally, we provide support for Automation Security Officers and assist operators with digital technical documentation and maintenance of their facilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues in WAN, LAN, Wifi, Server, IP Telecommunications, and mobile network coverage to design IT/OT systems at the Münster and Würzburg sites.
• Lead projects to close compliance gaps and optimize the entire system landscape for compliance and reliability.
• Develop concepts for networks, hardware, software, data backup, and remote access and implement them with internal and external partners.
• Work closely with operators, OAS, Global Digitalization, and assist with High-Level Risk Assessments, Compliance Audits, and regulatory inquiries.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed studies in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Several years of experience in network technology or a similar area, ideally at the intersection of IT and OT
• Project management and work experience in digitization and automation
• Expertise in network architecture and design, maintenance, management, troubleshooting in network technology
• Strong interest in digital innovation and communication technology, enthusiasm for continuous learning about new challenges, trends, tools, and innovations
• Ability to work independently, teamwork, a structured, goal-oriented, and reliable approach as well as fluent communication in German and English.
