Job Description

In manufacturing, technical processes continuously generate huge amounts of data from sensors that monitor the technical process or from the PLC that controls it. Today, we have the means to collect these data streams and store them in databases for various purposes. However, the granularity of the stored data does not always correspond to its intended use. As a result, storage space is wasted and a great deal of effort is required to extract the information that is actually needed from the data.

• During your internship, you will start with requirements engineering and researching existing solutions.
• Furthermore, you will define development tasks.
• Last but not least, you will finally be able to realize them for the given IT environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Master studies in the field of Mathematics, Computer Science, Automation, Mechatronics or comparable
• Experience and Knowledge: in Python; proven programming skills; affinity for manufacturing
• Personality and Working Practice: independent, creative, hard-working, with good communication skills
• Languages: good in English, German is a plus

Additional Information

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months
