- Act as a liaison between the pharmaceutical business unit and the tech/IT department.
- Translate business needs from the pharmaceutical unit into actionable data science projects.
- Lead initiatives focused on data-driven decision-making, optimizing business operations, characterizing patient profiles, and enhancing healthcare system efficiency.
- Engage directly with business stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business objectives.
- Adapt to a lean and agile team environment, demonstrating resilience and flexibility in response to shifting project demands and timelines.
- Guide the strategic integration of advanced analytics to support market research and product launches post-research phase.
- Master's degree, PhD, or equivalent experience in a quantitative field such as mathematics, computer science, engineering, bioinformatics, etc.
- Proven track record in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry, with experience managing complex stakeholder relationships within these sectors.
- Proven professional experience in implementing and deploying machine learning solutions, utilizing various models including classification, regression, and clustering.
- Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with SQL or NoSQL database systems.
- Experience with large datasets and distributed computing technologies like Hive, Hadoop, or Spark, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP would be a plus but is not essential.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical topics and influence analytics decisions among senior business leaders.
