Senior Electrical Engineer Grid Connection and Substations - Gelsenkirchen, Deutschland - Uniper

We are seeking an electrical reinforcement for our Electrical & C&I Engineering department in Gelsenkirchen to support the growth projects for implementing the Uniper Green Customer strategy.

Your responsibilities

• Control of approval processes and preparation of technical documents for grid connections at the respective voltage level
• Technical engineering for grid connection concepts, including energy supply concepts for energy systems and grid connections
• Planning of switchgears and substations for various voltage levels
• Preparation of tender documents for projects related to electricity generation, gas, and hydrogen technologies
• Project management and coordination following technical rules and norms

Your profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in the grid sector with knowledge of grid operator processes
• Experience in dealing with technical and commercial suppliers
• National and international project management experience
• Process-oriented with a strong sense of quality and responsibility
• Team player with excellent organizational skills and a structured approach to work
• Fluency in German and English; proficiency in other languages is a plus
• Willingness to travel
