- We are looking for a Team Leader / Head of Finance & Controlling for our Leipzig location.
- You will be responsible for comprehensive financial management and controlling at WAVELABS. This role involves developing and implementing financial strategies, monitoring financial performance, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, budgeting and forecasting, as well as ensuring an efficient controlling system.
- You will lead and develop the Accounting and Controlling departments, currently consisting of 5 colleagues.
- You will develop, plan, and implement a long-term financial strategy that supports WAVELABS' business goals and growth.
- You will monitor financial key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to the management, the supervisory board, and the executives.
- You will ensure an efficient budgeting and forecasting process, including monitoring budget utilization and identifying deviations.
- You will ensure compliance with legal regulations and minimize financial risks by maintaining an effective internal control system.
- You will support in the evaluation and identification of growth opportunities in investment decisions.
- You will follow best practices in finance and accounting, as well as continuously improve financial processes.
- You are a true team player, believing in 'One for all, all for one'.
- You have a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a similar field.
- You have at least 4 years of experience in team leadership, team development, and collaboration with various departments, preferably in a manufacturing company.
- You have solid knowledge in financial management, budgeting, controlling, and reporting, and are proficient in financial software / MS Office applications and possibly ERP systems.
- You possess excellent analytical skills and can effectively communicate complex financial information. Additionally, strategic thinking is one of your strengths.
- You communicate clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally, in German and English.

Who are we...
From a garage startup to a Global Player in no time.
In less than a decade, WAVELABS has become one of the most established names in solar measurement technology. Currently, around 30% of all solar cell simulations are conducted using one of our devices.
It all started with the SINUS-220, an innovative LED flasher for solar cells. The product portfolio soon expanded to include several more solar simulators for research and development, as well as mass production applications.
Many renowned photovoltaic manufacturers now rely on our flashers in their production and research processes.
We currently have 100 employees, with our main location in Leipzig (with approximately 70 employees). Additionally, we have another location in Münster and are expanding our distribution sites in China, India, and the USA.
Hybrid working is our standard, but regular team gatherings promote solidarity and a sense of unity, so we make an effort to see each other in the office regularly.
