As we continue to expand our presence in the European Union, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic Public Affairs Manager to drive our engagement and advocacy efforts.

    If you see yourself driving, prioritizing and coordinating our public affairs agenda and carrying through engagement and messaging strategies for NKT from some of our most well-connected sites, such as Brøndby (Copenhagen), Berlin, Cologne, or Brussels, then this position could be right career choice for you.

    Your role as Public Affairs Manager

    In this role you will be bringing value to NKT by driving, prioritizing, and coordinating our public affairs agenda as well as carrying through relevant engagement and messaging strategy for NKT in the EU.

    Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement joint regulatory and public affairs initiatives with other stakeholders
  • Influence the EU, German and Danish legislation initiatives, and plans to benefit NKT
  • Assess gaps and prioritize key opportunities for NKT to be more visible in shaping the EU agenda
  • Relationship building with key political and administrative stakeholders and interest organizations
  • Qualifications

    You thrive in working with public affairs in a public or private organization or business and have demonstrated the ability to work both individually and collaboratively to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as governments, administrations, interest organizations and political parties.

    To excel in this role you should also have:

  • A completed Masters degree in a relevant discipline
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the green transition and energy policies in Europe
  • Experience working in a factual manner and are meticulous at achieving results
  • Very good communication skills in English, knowledge of German and Danish is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Please not that this position requires travel of up to 50%.
