    For the Information Security Department of the Central University Administration, we are seeking an IT Security Specialist CERT.

    Full-time roles are typically flexible.

    Your profile:
    • Successfully completed scientific university studies in IT security/computer science or a related field
    • Comprehensive understanding of cyber attack methods, detection, and defense measures
    • Experience with various security tools and technologies preferred
    • Able to conduct risk-based assessments of vulnerabilities and cyber risks
    • Excellent written and spoken German language proficiency
    • High level of commitment and strong service orientation
    • Suitable for entry-level professionals

    Your tasks:
    • Incident Detection and Response: Analyze security events, detect incidents and cyber attacks, and coordinate response actions
    • Vulnerability Assessment: Investigate vulnerabilities in IT systems and develop action plans
    • Expand security infrastructure: Develop and implement monitoring solutions for new IT infrastructures
    • Stay updated on current security threats and risks, develop concepts to enhance IT security
    • Provide security consulting to university departments and advise on IT security projects
    • Coordinate requirements management
