Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated Embedded Software Specialist to join our team in Germany. This role requires an individual with a strong background in embedded systems, particularly in diagnosing and resolving embedded software issues. The successful candidate will develop, test, and optimize embedded software to ensure it meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust embedded software for various hardware platforms.
• Focus heavily on diagnostic processes, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues within embedded systems.
• Implement software updates, drivers, and patches in a timely manner.
• Perform comprehensive testing and validation to ensure software functionality and reliability.
• Modify and update software to improve performance and integrate new features based on diagnostic findings.
• Collaborate closely with hardware engineers and product development teams to align software with overall system designs.
• Document all phases of software development clearly and thoroughly for future reference and compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in embedded software development with a focus on diagnostics and problem-solving.
• Expertise in programming languages such as C, C++, and possibly Assembly.
• Advanced debugging and diagnostic skills in a real-time, embedded environment.
• Experience with firmware flashing processes and software testing strategies.
• Exceptional analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of embedded operating systems like Linux or RTOS.
• Experience with communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, and UART.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ASPICE, ISO26262, AUTOSAR
• Proficiency in English.
