About the Position: This position is located in Department of Defense Education Activity, Europe East Smith Elementary School, located at Baumholder, Germany.

Federal employees in Baumholder, Germany is currently entitled to receive a 25 percent Post Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary. Percentage is subject to change.

Position is being filled at the GS-05 target GS-06 level. Management may select at any of the grade levels announce.

Duties

• Utilize supply and logistic support systems for standard requisitioning, stock, storing, records and issuing procedures.
• Verify and record serial numbers upon receipt of goods, bar codes items.
• Assure school support requirements are prepared, edited, and submitted to the Area Director's office for the purchase of supplies and equipment.
• Serve as property custodian maintaining a perpetual inventory of non-expendable property and supply records for durable items in the school.
• Assist in monitoring the school safety and security programs to ensure compliance with program requirements of DoDEA and the supporting military installation.
• Assist Area and District personnel with physical security inspections to ensure adequate security measures are in place and adhered to.
• Assure all supply transactions are recorded in an automated system and that copies of documents are file appropriately to maintain an adequate automated and hard-copy audit trail.
• Set or revise stock levels for authorized items available through the supply system.
