- Evaluate tissuesamples processed by various technologies (e.g., H&E, IHC,ISH, RNAScope) across diverse indication spaces (oncology,inflammation,
immunology,cell and gene therapy) in both research and clinical settings(GCP) - EvaluateH&E-stained tumor slides for macrodissection for moleculardownstreamanalyses
- Ensure qualitycontrol of tissue samples and stainings by internal and externalteams
- Serve as an AssayTechnology expert in standard pathology technologies, especiallyIHC and ISH/RNAscope, and support validation of assays forclinical
trials - Support theestablishment of automated immunohistochemical, in-situhybridization, and other tissue-based assays (e.g., PLA),including
validation, image analysis, and tissueprocessingprocedures - Fosterrelationships with academic institutions, CROs, diagnosticcompanies, and industry associations as well as provide guidance oninnovative
technologies for spatial analysis, multiplexassays, and automated quantitative digital imageanalysis - Collaborate andalign with experts in project and strategyteams
- You are aqualified M.D.Pathologist
- You have a proventrack record of research/clinical development in biomarker-drivenprojects with at least initial work experience in the
pharmaceutical industry or in a clinical pathologylaboratory - You demonstrate astrong scientific background in cancer biology and/orimmunology
- You bringextensive expertise in histopathology techniques (e.g., IHC, ISH,macro-/microdissection, quantitative imagine analysis, etc.)–
hands-on experience in method development, validationand/or image analysis algorithm generation ispreferred - You areproficient in implementing complex in vitro diagnostic assays tomeet clinical trial designs and sampling handlingstrategies
- You have advancedknowledge of pathophysiology and oncology therapies with a focus ontranslational sciences (cf., Proof of Concept)
and/orbiomarkers (experience in other disease areas is aplus) - You are familiarwith relevantregulations
- Yourdistinguished scientific reputation with multiple publications anda strong network in academic and clinical communities, coupledwith
