- Work on-site with clients to align strategic goals and objectives
- Interpret our clients' business needs and translate those needs into technology and operational requirements
- Interpret clients' process flows or system diagrams and create future state versions that highlight the advantages of recommendations
- Lead large cross-functional workshops of 10-50 people for process analysis and architecture requirements gathering and, in conjunction with other team members, produce professional design documents
- Identify gaps in process mapping and apply industry knowledge to fill those gaps
- Lead playback sessions to articulate findings, recommendations and finalize client solution documents for sign off and hand off to development or deployment team members
- Continue to act as a subject matter expert for the client
- Contribute to the development of various service offerings
- Contribute to practice thought leadership, body of knowledge and service development
- Participate in the development and cultivation of client relationships
- Support business development and sales teams for both follow-on and new sales efforts
- Excellent university degree and several years of professional experience in consulting with functional knowledge in supply chain or after sales service operations, or having managed supply chain functions within a corporate setting
- Experience leading workstreams and teams of consultants in the delivery of client engagements; full life cycle project management experience a plus
- Experience leading client workshops in change management or other consulting methodologies at the executive, management and user levels
- Experience in software implementation and integration a plus
- Analytical skills and a capacity to work with large data sets a plus
- Exceptional drive, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to immediately contribute in a team environment
- An ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of client focus
- Strong work ethic and high attention to detail, with a desire to learn

Inviting applications for the role of Business Architect - Supply Chain Consulting
The Business Architect is a team leader on our project engagement teams and is responsible for analysing, designing, and developing business changes using technology-enabled solutions. Business Architects are tasked with facilitating workshops and requirements sessions to gain an understanding of client's current state processes and technology. From the sessions' outputs, the Business Architect will map out a future state that includes improved process definition as well as best-practice architecture and implementation of a selected platform. The Business Architect also designs and deploys solutions that support our clients' business processes and requirements. This individual must be able to manage and deliver components of client engagements that include analysis of current state business process and technology, process and functional design, future state prototyping and architecture for a selected vendor. Typical responsibilities include:

· Knowledge of supply chain systems, processes and data, and business operations
Location and Travel
Our primary location in Europe is Munich, Germany, but candidates may be based anywhere within a reasonable distance of a major airport. The nature of our business requires travel to client locations. Travel tends to fluctuate depending on specific project and client needs but typically is in the range of 40-50%.
