Position: Software Developer - DevOps Level 5

Location: Bremen, Germany

Field: Defence

Type: Full-time

Tasks:

Programming, testing, and analysis of software components primarily according to architectural specifications and/or in coordination with a Software Developer Level 4 or Level 5
Programming and testing of software components partially based on design specifications
Documentation of the software components under own responsibility
Integration of software subsystems consisting of multiple software components, including integration into the target system
Support in system integration
Documentation of specifications for software subsystems for third-party software development, including technical leadership
Technical leadership of Software Developers Level 1, 2, and 3 as well as external teams

Requirements:

Completed Masters degree in Computer Science or a comparable field
Several years of professional experience in software development
Experience contributing to large-scale software projects
Several years of experience in the technical leadership of software development
Very strong programming and design skills in an object-oriented programming language
Very good written and spoken English and German skills
Comprehensive understanding of complex overall systems and software architecture
Willingness to travel worldwide
