    We, at Damovo are seeking a talented, driven, dynamic, and motivated Sourcing Manager Indirect Procurement (m/f/d) to join our Group Procurement team in Düsseldorf. The position reports into the Group Procurement Director and is perfect for a savvy procurement professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about optimizing processes and forging lasting supplier relationships.
    The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiations skills, strategic sourcing expertise, supplier network and vendor management expertise and a proven track record of achieving cost savings and driving operational efficiencies.

    Key responsibilities

    • Responsible for the Indirect Procurement commodities and the management of related supplier relationships
    • Develop, establish, and maintain cost effective, service oriented and quality focused long-term strategy supplier relationships in accordance with company objectives and industry best practices
    • Responsible for the indirect procurement (including but not limited to) the Source 2 Contract process for the following Commodities: Professional services, Logistics, Travel & Fleet, Marketing, Facility Management and Office & Employee supplies
    • Responsible for developing and implementing functional supplier performance indicators, analysis/evaluation of supplier proposals, supplier negotiations and ongoing administration tasks, as well as risk assessments and containment actions
    • You will support your colleagues in the Group Procurement team with Procurement projects outside your scope of responsibility or Projects driven be the management with a broader scope then Procurement
    • Support internal customers and stakeholders to understand and meet their Procurement needs as well as educate them on Procurement processes and guidelines
    • Enhance the professional image of the Group Procurement team with your supporting and hands-on attitude

    Experience and skills we value

    • Minimum of a bachelor's degree or Main business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
    • You can impress us with a minimum three years of relevant experience in an Indirect Procurement function and managing suppliers in an international business environment.
    • Proven experience in the relevant Indirect Procurement Commodities
    • Strong negotiations skills, together with analytical prowess, and a proactive problem-solving attitude
    • Proven track record of delivering significant cost savings and operational efficiencies through strategic sourcing initiatives
    • You have a broad-based international sourcing experience in a fast-paced organization with experience and exposure in innovative, new approaches to procurement and you will bring in a supplier network
    • Ability to develop, implement and maintain comprehensive relationships with suppliers
    • Exceptional dedication to internal customer satisfaction, combined with strong communication abilities in both German and English
