- Serve as the primary technical contact for our Managed-Services-Provider (MSP), Channel, and Distribution partners
- Maintain clear and professional communication between our teams and partners
- Coordinate team efforts and distribute partner requirements to MSP Teams, Channel Sales Teams, Channel Marketing, Sales Teams, Product Management, and Development
- Build and sustain strong relationships with partners through virtual meetings and on-site visits
- Provide education, enablement, and expansion of technical expertise for MSPs and Channel partners through technical training and webinars (remote and on-site)
- Analyze the needs of MSPs and Channel partners to develop tailored technical solutions
- Prepare, execute, and follow-up on technical product presentations and workshops independently
- Establish cloud environments for MSPs and Channel partners to train and test IGEL's software solutions
- Monitor and track the certification status of MSP & Channel partners in the IGEL Academy
- Coordinate PreSales resources in MSP & Channel partner projects as needed
- Promote IGEL training offerings, additional IGEL services, and IGEL Certifications
- Create and implement your own IGEL training concepts
- Demonstrate our technology at industry events, tradeshows, and partner events
- Utilize remote tools to demonstrate IGEL's solutions and assist customers in troubleshooting issues
- Resolve technical issues at the operating system level
- Manage technical issues, solutions, and sales opportunity progress by creating cases within IGEL's helpdesk system
- Handle case escalations from partners to maintain momentum on sales opportunities
- Continue your education by attending training sessions and reviewing technical documentation
- Support IGEL Presales colleagues in their field activities, as needed

- Proven experience in Sales Engineering with MSPs, Channel, and Distribution partners
- Highly skilled with extensive proficiency
- Professional experience in Sales Engineering and consulting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of effective interaction with engineers, sales teams, and management as well as excellent phone and email communication skills
- Team player with the ability to build good working relationships at all levels
- Flexibility, integrity, and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to simplify and explain complex technical issues

- Preferred working knowledge of Linux Operating Systems
- In-depth knowledge of IGEL's products and solutions, especially IGEL OS, the Universal Management Suite, and the IGEL Cloud Gateway, or other Thin Client/Endpoint operating systems is a plus
- Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems
- Experience with Remote Desktop Services, Azure Virtual Desktop, AWS, Citrix, and VMware Horizon environments
- Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, AD, etc.
- Understanding of solutions offered by IGEL's technology partners

THE ROLE
:As a Senior Sales Engineer, MSP and Channel (m/f/d) at IGEL, you will engage regularly with our MSP, Channel, and Distribution partners, as well as internal teams across the EMEA region. You will be part of a seasoned and motivated MSP & Channel Sales Engineering team, committed to sharing their knowledge to help you grow and achieve your goals. Working closely with the MSP & Channel Sales teams, you will be instrumental in IGEL's MSP & Channel partner journey, executing Sales Engineering activities in various projects. A key component of this role involves training IGEL's business MSPs, partners and distributors, both on-site and remotely. Expect to travel 2-3 weeks per month, for 2-3 days each week. A strong desire to learn and a proactive, "can do, want to learn" attitude is essential.
