Quality Assurance Specialist at Jena-Optronik GmbH

In this role, you will be responsible for all supplier-related quality matters.

Your Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all supplier-related quality issues in our company, including deviation and NCR management with our suppliers, as well as participating in the selection of new suppliers.
• Ensure 'on Time'/ 'on Quality'/ 'on Cost' deliveries in collaboration with the procurement department.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and supplier development.
• Initiate proactive measures and projects to actively support the improvement of our suppliers.
• Assist in the introduction of new products or product components and monitor the process in terms of qualification readiness before producing prototype components.
• Independently conduct supplier audits and take necessary actions if required.

Your Profile:

• You hold a degree in a technical field, e.g., Industrial Engineering.
• You have several years of experience in product and quality assurance.
• You have in-depth knowledge of Engineering topics (Electronics, Optics, Mechanics) as well as Manufacturing and Integration. Familiarity with DIN EN ISO 9001 or 9100 is advantageous.
• Experience in conducting internal and external audits.
• You possess strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as assertiveness.
• You are willing to travel occasionally within Germany and abroad.
• Fluent in both German and English.
