Head of Software Development – Life Science (d/f/m)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for cross-site technological software development activitiesLead an organization of 60+ people, ensuring their engagement and developmentProvide project content, timelines, financial planning, and resources via project managementEnsure the development of software and system solutions within the scope of projects, considering current trends and customer requirementsDefine the strategic goals for your area of responsibility and ensure their executionDrive activities in line with future technology requirements and trends to secure our development capabilitiesEnsure the support of adjacent functions regarding our product and technology developmentOUR EXPECTATIONSYou have a technical or scientific degree alongside numerous years of experience in software development, project work as well as people managementYou have the ability to lead and motivate your team and you are experienced in managing managersYou have a very good understanding of software development for complex scientific instruments including programming and system designYou are customer orientated, possess good communication skills and a good understanding of the business contextsYou are fluent in English with a good understanding of GermanWHAT WE OFFERAn attractive salary and pension packageA wide range of (virtual) training opportunities to grow skills in a huge variety of fields:
