    JOIN THE TEAMThe future of BASF is climate-neutral - and we are shaping the way ahead We enable BASF to access renewable energy by participating in the production of renewable electricity, concluding long-term supply contracts and bringing renewable electricity to BASF production sites.

    RESPONSIBILITIESBASF Renewable Energy GmbH (BREn) has been established to bundle activities within BASF Group pertaining to the sourcing, trading and distribution of renewable energy.

    Hence, BREn is a central element of BASF Group's transformation towards net-zero emissions.

    Within BREn, you will lead and take responsibility for the financial operations of Joint Ventures (including treasury, accounting, controlling, budgeting, etc.), report results to and prepare decisions of the Joint Venture Board of Directors.

    You will steer the external Service and Governance Units such as the SSC in Berlin or corporate functions like Tax, Finance, etc.

    In addition, you will develop budgets and control financial development of the windfarm against budget.

    You will establish a system for financial steering and reporting across the Joint Venture and Holding structure, including analyzing scenarios and deviations from the business plan.

    Furthermore, you will participate within Down-farming and financial interaction with Joint Ventures stakeholders (Co-Investors) and preparation of the project financing.

    Finally, you will be responsible for corporate (project) financing of the JV including Lender Management.

    QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree or equivalent in business administration with good knowledge of corporate finance, accounting and controllingseveral years of operational experience in finance function and handling different stakeholders (internal and external)profound experiences of project financing / syndicated loans and ability to understand and follow respective contractsfamiliarity with the design, organization, and operation of Joint Ventures (preferably with exposure to wind farms or renewable assets)ability to work collaboratively with different partners and stakeholders in an international setting and in interdisciplinary teamsexcellent analytical thinking, strong strategic thinking, team working skills as well as confidence and seniority to ensure collaboration with impactadvanced proficiency in Excel, SAP, and BW applicationsexcellent verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively engage at various levels internally and externallyBENEFITSInspiring networks for the development and implementation of your ideas (e.g.
