Join the Landkreis Leer Team as a Sachbearbeiter (m/f/d) for Animal Health

At Landkreis Leer, there is an immediate opening for a full-time Sachbearbeiter (m/f/d) in the Office of Veterinary Affairs and Food Inspection. Please note, this position is not suitable for part-time work.

Main responsibilities include:

• Verification of animal health and, if necessary, animal welfare requirements as well as issuing certificates for domestic transport, EU transport, and the import and export of animals and animal products.
• Conducting administrative offense proceedings in the field of animal health.
• Data collection for animal transport inspections and other inspections related to animal health and welfare.
• Calculation and processing of fee shares to be paid to veterinary staff.
• Preparation of cost notices, statistics, and reports.
• Participation in matters concerning animal disease control, especially the use of specialized procedures.

Requirements for the position:

• Qualification for the career group 1, 2nd entry level, in the General Services field.
• Successful completion of training as an administrative specialist or passing the public service examination I.
