- Technical Leadership: Lead and support product development for cross-functional teams, setting technical direction and making architecture choices.Take technical ownershipof the existing software platform and guidesoftware engineersin their implementation work.
- Software System Development: Design and develop software (C++ for Windows desktop applications) in accordance with project requirements, defined architecture and quality requirements.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively ininternational and cross-functional teams as well as with technology leaders from adjacent projects.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement design and process improvements. Maintain and evolve the existing software platform.
- Based on a Bachelor or Master Degree in the field of computer science, softwareengineering or comparable, you have 5+ years of professional experience in software development with C++ in combination with Qt, ideally in aregulated industry.
- You like working with development tools such as Visual Studio, Git, CI-/CD-pipelines and issue trackers.
- You are experienced in all phases of the software development life cycle includingrequirements definition, design, implementation and V&V.
- Ideally, you have experience incomputer visionand computational geometry and have a strong interest in these topics.
- Your experience in html, CSS and JavaScript is a plus.
- Your excellent english communication skills make it easy for you to communicate in an international environment with differentlevels and establish and maintain long-term strategic partnerships.

As Lead Software Engineer (m/f/d) on ourSports Medicine team, you will play a key role in designing advanced features as well as setting technical direction for oursoftware platform for digital hip preservation solutions. As technology lead on the project,you will be collaborating with other functions such as project managers, quality engineers and software test engineers as well as with technology leaders of adjacent platforms. You willimplement new functionalities andlead software engineerson the project team in their implementation work. You will also be responsible formaintaining and optimizing existing features to ensure that they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
