With full responsibility for leading Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) for the Exyte global data center business, the objective of this position is to consistently deliver world-class EHS performance, meeting internal and external customer expectations. Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Environmental, health and safety lead for all GBU DTC operations
• Continually champion Exyte's Injury Free Workplace (IFW) culture and program
• Ensure the maintenance and implementation of the corporate EHS management system across the GBU
• Develop and implement the GBU EHS strategy to align with wider corporate philosophy, business objectives and specific expectations within the data center industry
• Oversee GBU environmental duty of care compliance, waste management and resource consumption strategy benchmarking and analysis
• Global travel to Exyte offices and project sites as well as customer meetings on an as needed and often short notice basis

Show your expertise

• Bachelor's or master's degree in EHS, engineering, construction management or related field
• 15+ years' experience in the construction industry
• Experience in a medium or large company in a lead EHS or operational/technical role as part of the senior management team.
• Experience in the construction industry preferably in the DTC sector
• Control of hazardous energy (specifically electrical) subject matter expert
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries.
• Specific experience in key technical areas such as civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical will be an advantage in fulfilling the responsibilities of the role
• Ability to effectively communicate complex issues to a variety of stakeholders in English
