- Innovate and independently develop concepts and designs for power, control and measurement electronics for electric vehicles in automotive applications.
- Take responsibility for improving our battery management system, low volt distribution systems, human machine interfaces, telematic control units and many more components developed in-house.
- Effortlessly craft digital and analog components, including high-speed elements and switch-mode power supplies.
- Take the initiative in the prototype commissioning, verification, and troubleshooting of intricate electronic assemblies.
- Steer the design process from conceptualization to the integration of components into the full vehicle system for mass production.
- Support production with series production and tooling assistance.
- Refine and enhance existing products with your extensive knowledge.
- Design the hardware for test rigs and subsequently validate the electronics you have developed.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to resolve technical queries and generate production-related documentation.
- Demonstrate mastery in using soldering irons, hot air guns, reflow ovens, etc., to independently construct and improve prototypes.
- Thrive in an agile environment, utilizing the SCRUM framework to enhance collaboration and efficiency in our project development processes.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a successful track record.
- Solid experience in circuit design for embedded systems.
- Proficiency with communication protocols such as I2C, UART, CAN, SPI is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Altium Designer as design tools for circuit design and layout.
- Knowledge about simulation tools like LT Spice or similar is beneficial.
- Extensive laboratory experience with measurement technology.
- Experience in the automotive sector, demonstrating a strong understanding of automotive systems and the unique challenges they present.
- Experience with electric vehicle systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of safety regulations ISO26262 would be beneficial.
- You embody team spirit, flexibility, and the ability to quickly grasp new concepts.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, goal-oriented project focus, and a keen interest in electric mobility define you.
- Proficiency in English is required to communicate effectively in both writing and speech. German language skills are a plus, adding value to our diverse team.
