- Overall responsibility and accountability for the automotive quality excellence program (zero defects strategy). This program will be our core to ensure the right processes, mindset and responsibilities are designed to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Provide strong leadership in developing and deploying the quality processes and policy. Create a holistic approach for our customers and employees.
- Develop and drive global quality program with transparent focus initiatives "must wins" and impact.
- Drive competence development of the automotive team through training and consistent process verifications and support the global automotive organization in problem solving.
- Develop automotive's standard KPIs and cadence of reporting as well as drive best practices and lessons learned globally to the rest of the automotive division.
- Experience in a full scope IATF 16949 business environment with an ISO/TS 16949 Lead Auditor certificate
- Experience in a leadership role with effective communication skills
- Problem solving and root cause analysis experience as well as focus on continuous improvement
- Fluent Business English skills, German skills are a plus

Job Description
At Semikron-Danfoss we manufacture power modules for our customers in the automotive, energy and industrial sectors. For our Automotive division, we are looking for a Head of Quality Excellence (m/f/d) located in Flensburg or Nuremberg , Germany.
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will drive the automotive quality program to improve customer satisfaction, organization's capabilities and quality mindset. Additionally, you will lead the process management and continuous improvement of automotive quality.
Your main tasks are:
Background & Skills
You have successfully completed a Master's or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, materials science, process engineering or an equivalent technical field and several years of experience in a quality role in the automotive business.
