About the Role:
Come Ride With Us as our Office Assistant - Part-time & Temporary at Cannondale's Research & Development site in Freiburg. Reporting to our local HR Business Partner, you will help keep daily operations running smoothly by supporting Management and HR, coordinating events and logistics, and creating a positive and professional workspace. This all‑round role blends office operations, visitor experience, and workplace culture within our innovative R&D environment.
Note: This is a 6-month temporary, on-site role (20 hours per week) at our Freiburg location. The weekly schedule is flexible within our standard operating hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 17:00 CET, and occasional weekend hours.
How You'll Make an Impact:

Handle reception and front‑desk operations as the first point of contact for visitors, partners, and suppliers

Manage day‑to‑day office operations, admin tasks, supplies, and coordination across teams

Collaborate with Management and HR with scheduling, documentation, and general operational needs

Coordinate travel bookings, invoices, office services, maintenance, and facility tasks

Plan and support meetings, workshops, and internal events, including logistics and on‑site setup

Organize team and community events and assist at on‑site and off‑site activities

Work with safety representatives to support workplace compliance and safety standards

Occasionally test‑ride bicycles to support R&D projects

Jump in across teams when needed in a dynamic R&D environment
What You Bring to the Table:
-
1–2 years of experience in an administrative, office support, or coordination role

Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Solid organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with a hospitality-focused approach

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and German. Additional European language skills are an advantage

Reliable team player who supports colleagues proactively
-
Flexible, hands-on, and comfortable taking initiative

Interest in cycling or the outdoor sports industry is a plus
-
Valid driver's license required
