- Take responsibility: You will implement (adapt) one existing MATLAB/Simulink Permanent Magnets Synchronous Motor (PMSM) drive model (controller, inverter and electrical motor) and prepare the controller model for automated code generation with TC4x AURIX Hardware Support Package (AHSP)
- Teamwork is dreamwork: You will work on modeling of resolver interface, DSADC, Field Orinted Control (FOC), Luenberger observer and "synchronous PWM" pattern generation in MATLAB/Simulink together with the team
- Reliable work: You will perform Model-in-the-Loop (MiL) analysis to verify overall concept, automatically generate the code that should run on TriCore/PPU by usage of AHSP, and eventually, if needed, write some additional C code
- Expand your horizons: You will find optimal (seamless, to avoid jumps of duty cycle) transition scheme between FOC driven PWM pattern (that shall running on TriCore/PPU) and synchronous optimal torque PWM generation (that shall running on 3xCDSP)
- Shape the future: You will merge two pieces of SW together (automatically generated and written C code) in the hybrid workflow, compile it and flash on TC4x TriBoard and operate in Processor-in-the-Loop (PiL) mode to optimize overall system performance
- Study field: You are currently studying Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or a related subject
- Personality: You show initiative and are motivated to develop yourself further
- Skills: You are well-versed with MATLAB/Simulink, power electronics and can program in C
