    Psychological Counselor at krisenchat

    We are a team providing free and confidential psychosocial crisis support in Ukrainian and Russian. Our mission is to help individuals affected by war, displacement, migration, and other challenging life events that impact their emotional stability and mental health.

    • krisenchat supports children, adolescents, and adults experiencing acute emotional distress or psychological overwhelm seeking professional support;
    • We offer short-term counseling via chat in Ukrainian or Russian with trained counselors who provide empathetic conversations helping stabilize difficult moments;

    Counselors work with clear protocols for high-risk situations including suicidality child protection panic regulation anxiety management stress stabilization through our online resource toolbox access to practical tools.

    Your Role:

    1. You will be responsible for providing psychosocial crisis counseling via online chat supporting clients dealing with topics such as war-related distress loneliness depressive symptoms family conflicts work-related stress each shift lasts 2 hours scheduled at your suitable time as we operate 24/7 you have flexibility organizing shifts taking least two shifts per month;
    This position offers meaningful professional development within structured supportive environment volunteering benefits hands-on experience digital crisis counseling group supervision peer exchange onboarding e-learning workshops certifications required skills basic computer knowledge of language C2 level written English B1 level personal contact crucial video call introduction.
