Senior Security Engineer (SaaS) (d / m / w)

(Karlsruhe Area, Germany)

Based in the technology capital of South West Germany, an innovative and ferociously expanding company is offering an unparalleled Senior Security Engineer position.

At the heart and soul of the new-age technological sector, this special company develops world-leading Connectivity and SaaS platforms for Tier1 and OEM partners. During this exciting time, they urgently require a Senior Security Engineer to extend their security-related components and increase the functionality of their software.

Responsibilities

• Practice the highest level of code quality
• Identify and alleviate security issues in an effective manner
• Work with team members in the integration of security throughout the entire software development life cycle
• Threat modeling, risk assessments, and penetration testing of SaaS products
• Implement security tools, conduct secure code reviews, and ensure compliance in line with security standards
• Create and execute small-medium architectural solutions
• Work cross-functionally with other internal teams such as DevOps and SW Engineering

Desired Skills and Experience

• Completed a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or similar
• 5+ years experience in Application security within a SaaS and/or Embedded environment
• Experience in threat modeling, risk assessments, and penetration testing
• Experience in security-critical architecture and cryptography
• Experience/knowledge in security tools and standards (ISO27001, OWASP, SAST, etc.)
• Fluent English
