- For example, you evaluate the functionality of the control system, the brakes or the train protection system.
- As a cross-sectional function in electrical engineering, you will work with engineers (m/f/d) from various specialist areas (e.g. system design, software development) to define the technical solutions so that our functional architectures and solutions meet the safety requirements.
- To this end, you will create safety analyses for software and hardware components as well as for integration into the overall system.
- Finally, you will create safety certificates, which are an important prerequisite for vehicle approval.
- You have a Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or automotive engineering.
- Your profile is characterized by many years of professional experience as a safety manager or safety engineer and in carrying out risk assessments and preparing safety certificates.
- You have experience in the development of control units at system and sub-system level.
- You are confident in the application of various methods such as Failure Mode Effect Analyses (FMEA/FMEDA) and Fault Tree Analyses (FTA) as well as functional hazard analyses.
- You have detailed knowledge of the creation of technical safety concepts and determination of safety integrity levels of systems and devices.
- Ideally, you already work according to the following standards from the railroad sector: EN 50126, EN 50657 and EN 50129.
- Alternatively, you have specialist knowledge of standards from the automotive sector (ISO26262) or from the industrial plant business (IEC61508).
