JOIN THE TEAM

We shape BASF's future by defining the strategic framework. As part of the Corporate Center, we support our Board of Executive Directors in all portfolio and resource allocation decisions. We develop strategies, identify risks and opportunities and analyze trends in sustainability and technology. Together with the operating divisions, we develop strategies for the business and support their implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

From June 2024, we have an exciting opportunity for you to become part of our Economic Intelligence unit for at least 12 months and contribute to our success as a working student for 12 hours per week. Sharpen your skills and knowledge to help us provide analysis for over 70 countries and regions that are used for decision making across the BASF Group. You will have the opportunity to work remotely.

• As a working student, you will actively contribute to the development of decision-making documents in this area.
• Further, you will accompany our team in data analyses and data updates, gaining valuable experiences in the process.
• Your research results and contributions will flow directly into our activities.
• During your work, you will conduct macroeconomic country studies with us and investigate global economic correlations.
• You will gain a variety of insights into our strategic work.

QUALIFICATIONS

• currently pursuing a degree in economics and strong interest in empirical analyses and statistical concepts
• very good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially MS Excel
• experiences with VBA and Power BI are a plus
• detailed, exact, and independent way of working
• very good language skills in German and English
