    For our European Research & Development Center we are looking for a committed and motivated person as
    R&D Engineer (m/w/d) Structure Built-In Appliances
    Location: Stuttgart

    Role and Responsibilities

  • Enhancing and refining dishwasher cleaning and drying systems
  • Assessing the cleaning and drying efficiency of dishwashers by applying tests that comply with international standards and consumer organization test methods
  • Examining and evaluating competitor products with regards to cycle design and hardware advancements
  • Converting feedback from diverse stakeholders (such as end users and service) into requirements for products and components.
  • Operate within a diverse work environment / international teams
  • Cooperation with external laboratories and institutes
  • Participation in working group meetings of standardization committees (DKE, CENELEC) and manufacturer associations (APPLiA)
  • Providing support to the European subsidiaries through product trainings, with an emphasis on comparing technologies.
  • Skills and Qualifications

  • A university degree in mechanical, electrical, or appliance engineering or a technician background with initial professional experience and a commitment to continuous development in the job is required.
  • Experience with home appliances and smart connectivity technologies is preferred
  • Basic understanding of cleaning technologies
  • Having extra proficiency in any of the following fields is welcomed: detergents, electronics, sensor technology, software programming, hygiene / microbiology
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, with a preference for familiarity with German or Korean.

  • Very self-motivated and cooperative in a team setting
  • Having a sense of curiosity, creativity, and pragmatism
  • Reliable and willing to expand knowledge
