    We are looking for a Student Assistant to join our Media Relations team at FSC International, part of the Engagement Unit.

    Main Roles & Responsibilities

  • Daily monitoring of media coverage using tracking software and compiling daily media reports.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly media engagement reports and analytics.
  • Managing the media inbox and directing media requests to concerned staff members.
  • Creating and maintaining media lists and contact databases.
  • Providing administrative support to the Media Relations team - this includes contract tracking, budget monitoring, bookings and other tasks.
  • Assisting in the organization of team meetings, taking notes, follow-up communications, and reminders.
  • Actively participate in the brainstorming and execution of projects.
  • Other tasks to support the team as discussed and assigned with the supervisor.
  • Your profile

  • Currently enrolled at a University studying communications, journalism or writing in the Bonn area with eligibility to work in Germany.
  • Pursuing a degree in Media, Journalism, Communications, International Relations, or another related field.
  • Deep commitment to FSC's mission and values.
  • Reside within commuting distance of our Bonn offices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to an international working environment.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Well organized and follow assignments through to the end.
  • Fluent in English; basic knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Excellent proficiency in computer systems and office-related software.

    Terms and Conditions:

  • Start date: As soon as possible.
  • Working hours: 15-20 hours per week (ideally across 3- 5 days per week).
  • Duration: 6 months with an opportunity to extend.
  • Remuneration: 14€ gross per hour.
  • Location: FSC office Bonn, Germany (or remote).
